Super Bowl Commercial

All in all this year's Superbowl was to many a let down.  Especially when it came to the commercials.  Comments have been made stating they were unoriginal, boring and flat.  Whether you disagree with that or not you cant deny the large amount of celebrety apperances.  Celebs such as eminem (who made two apperances for two different brands) Rosanne Barr, Justin Beiber, Ozzy Ozborne, Kim Kardashian, Adrian Brody and many more.  However, even with all the stars shining viewers stll had their negative opinions.

Now, if you missed the commercials or want to rewatch any of them they can all be viewed at superbowlads.fanhouse.com.  Now maybe its just the fact that everysite has rated this commericial number one or maybe it is the fact that I find it absolutely adorable but the commercial with the highest reviews seems to be the Volkswagen Darth Vadar ad.

Funny and sweet this ad was made to make even the biggest hard-ass giggle in enjoyment.

Egypt Protests

Updates, comments, friend requests and now revolution? With approximately five million active users on Facebook in Egypt alone and one million of those being used on mobile phones this has been the highest number of users ever from Egypt.  Egyptians have created 32000 groups and 14000 pages in regards to the ongoing revolution against the government.  I find it simply jaw dropping that a website known for its pictures of drunken college girls or ridiculous amounts of status updates could have helped mobilized a national uprising.
Influenced by the country Tunisia’s successful revolt against government, Egypt is now attempting to overthrow their own.  Taking to the streets of Cairo in what was at first peaceful protest citizens spoke their peace on issues such as poverty and food taxes but with no such luck as far as making any changes.  In attempts to save himself President Hosni Mubarak has put in a new cabinet of elected officials hoping it would ease the minds of the revolting, yet the protest continued.   This seemingly peaceful protest however took a bloody turn on Wednesday when supporters of the President attacked the protestors in a violent rage.  The riot coincidentally happened the day after Mubarak announced he will not be stepping down as president but will serve out the remaining of his term.  This was also the day that the internet was turned back on after being cut off Thursday the previous week due to an increase of organized assembly seen over social networking site Facebook.
Egypts army has now stepped in in attempts to settle the violance and other world leaders have done little to provide any gidance or aid in the situation.  However, i predict that this will not die down until general and expected change occurs.
